In Settings, Attendance rules, choose the Clock-in location: Anywhere; Anywhere, but flag if outside the depot; or Only inside the depot. The distance is measured from the driver's home depot (within 200 m to start with), so the depot needs a position on the map.
With "flag if outside" the shift goes to review; with "Only inside the depot" clocking in elsewhere is refused. Location must be on to clock in when the rules check where drivers clock in.
