How do public holidays work? Can I change them?

FleetKraft fills in your public holidays automatically from your country, and in Australia and Canada also from the state or province in Settings, Company. In the United States these are the 11 federal holidays on their observed day (a Saturday holiday on the Friday, a Sunday one on the Monday). In India they are Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti plus the festival holidays in the central government's gazetted list (for example Holi, Id-ul-Fitr, Diwali and Christmas); Islamic festival dates can move after the moon is sighted, so check them each year. In Australia an extra weekday is added when New Year's Day, Australia Day, Christmas or Boxing Day falls on a weekend. Add your state's and local holidays yourself. Hours worked on a public holiday are paid at each driver's Public holiday rate.

In Settings, Public holidays choose the year (last year, this year or next year). Each holiday shows Automatic, Added by you, or Changed. Edit changes the date or name, Remove takes it off, and an automatic holiday you changed or removed can be brought back with Restore. Add a holiday adds your own (for example a company day).
