How is a job's price worked out?

FleetKraft uses the customer's own rate card, or the standard card if they have none. It matches each postcode to a zone, picks the most specific line for the from-zone, to-zone and service, adds the base price and the per-unit charge, applies the minimum, then adds the fuel levy.

Example: base 38.00 plus 0.42 per kg, minimum 45.00, 12% fuel levy. A 60 kg job costs 38.00 + 60 × 0.42 = 63.20, plus 12% fuel levy: 70.78 before tax. Prices are always before tax, and staff can type a different price.
